In the third edition of Flap na W3b, the theme was financial scams. We used Egyptian-inspired aesthetics to reference pyramid schemes and drew inspiration from Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon album cover, which features light refraction through a prism. Here, we reversed the concept: a lot of money goes into the pyramids, but only a few coins come out.
The title “Flap na W3b – O Golpe Tá Aí, Cai Quem Quer?” uses a well-known Brazilian expression. Literally, it means “The scam is out there, only those who want to fall for it will.” It’s a popular saying in Brazil, often used ironically, to suggest that scams are obvious, yet people still fall for them.
